FILMMAKERS WITHOUT BORDERS | Connected Classrooms

FILMMAKERS WITHOUT BORDERS has partnered with The Young Women’s Leadership School in the Bronx to connect 6th and 7th grade History and Language Arts classrooms to classrooms in India, Bhutan, Honduras, and Kenya.
TYWLS students regularly Skype with overseas students in order to co-create various media projects.  Examples include co-writing short film scripts, conducting online documentary interviews, and providing feedback on each others’  films throughout the year.
FILMMAKERS WITHOUT BORDERS has partnered with Bronxdale High School to connect 10th and 11th grade Media Studies classrooms to classrooms in India, Bhutan, Honduras, and Kenya.
Bronxdale’s students regularly Skype with overseas students in order to co-create various media projects.  Examples include co-writing short film scripts, conducting online documentary interviews, and providing feedback on each others’  films throughout the year.

 

FILMMAKERS WITHOUT BORDERS has partnered with the International High School at Union Square to connect 11th and 12th grade Media Studies classrooms to classrooms in India, Bhutan, Honduras, and Kenya.
IHS students regularly Skype with overseas students in order to co-create various media projects.  Examples include co-writing short film scripts, conducting online documentary interviews, and providing feedback on each others’  films throughout the year.
